Since around 1997, when I got into breakdancing, I caught the “vinyl fever.” At first, I was only buying 12-inches because I was mainly into rap and funk, and rap records always came with instrumental and acapella versions. But then, when I started listening to my funk records, I discovered the soul in them — and that led me to dive into 7-inches as well. Things escalated quickly, and my collection kept growing and getting more diverse. These days, it’s filled with boogie funk, Latin sounds, R&B, and more.
I love playing wide-ranging sets with different genres to keep things fresh for myself and the crowd.
Looking forward to spinning a few records again at the next NOT TOO YOUNG!
